New to this months Market Day are Ella Quaint with her delightful illustrations, some printed some original, of birds and other beasties inspired by vintage picture books; whimsical paper-cut, collaged and embroidered art cards. Also Creative Ink join us,  a design company who create New Zealand inspired patterns and prints. Their designs are then used to produce limited runs of handmade homeware such as cushions, tote bags and textiles.

We will also be showcasing contemporary artifacts for sale which include jewellery, ceramics, textiles, limited-edition T-shirts, leatherware, object art and prints.

Pop down and check out all the market fanfare at Britomart, with the City Farmers’ Market also taking place every Saturday on Gore Street from 8.30am to 12.30pm.

Parking is available at Britomart Car Park, located on the corner of Quay Street and Britomart Place. A $6 special parking rate applies between 8.30am and 2.30pm if you get your ticket validated at the City Farmers’ Market.
